Ironscales provides an advanced anti-phishing solution that sends out real time email alerts on unfamiliar and suspicious senders. Once that alert is triggered, you will see a red banner in your email. Here are some examples of these new banners that you may see:
When you get an email alert, please be extra cautious before taking any action on this email, and review the email carefully. If you know the sender or if this is an email you were expecting, you might want to ignore the alert. Getting more emails from the same sender will stop this message from recurring. Ironscales learns your email habits over time.

What is Phishing?
Phishing is a form of fraud in which an attacker masquerades as a reputable entity or person in email or other communication channels. The attacker uses phishing emails to distribute malicious links or attachments that can perform a variety of functions, including the extraction of login credentials or account information from victims.
What is the difference between Phishing emails and spam emails?
Spam is unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature while phishing emails are sent to fraudulently obtain sensitive information with malicious intent.
What am I expected to do?
This button will allow you to report an email that you find suspicious directly from your email account to the security team. If you’re unsure as to whether the email you received is malicious or safe, please report it! We will do the rest.
What happens when you report an email?
In cases of Mailbox-level Anomaly detection and/or suspicious email, IRONSCALES use dynamic banners addressing each Anomaly Detection. Your awareness and cooperation are very important. If you decided to report an email using the button, you will see an option to select a reason
What happens when you report an email?
Our security team will review your report and will classify it, using special tools and resources to make the determination of whether it’s a bad email or not. Once the incident classified, you will get an email notification regarding your report’s status.
