Setting up your Cisco Phone at Home
Step 1: Take the power cord provided with the kit and plug it into this side of your power injector. Then take the other side and plug it into a wall socket.
Step 2: Take one of your Ethernet cables and plug one side into the power injector port labeled “Router”
Step 3: And take the other side of the same Ethernet cable and plug it one of the ports on the back of your Router. Should look something like this:
Step 4: Now take your second Ethernet cable and plug it into the power injector port labeled “Phone”
Step 5: Take the other side of that same Ethernet cable and plug in into the back of your phone here:
Step 6: Once your phone is plugged in and powered on, you will need to reset your phone. Start by clicking on the Cog wheel button to enter settings:
Step 7: Once you are in the settings, navigate down to “Admin Settings” using the navigation wheel.
Use the center silver button to select.
Step 8: Then navigate to “Reset Settings”
Select option 4 “Reset Settings”
And finally, click the “Reset” button.
Step 9: After a few moments, it will pop up with a screen that looks like this:
When this screen appears, you will need to enter “rcwilley.com”. Be sure to click the “ABC” button to switch your keypad to letter selection. When that’s done, you’ll want to click the “Continue” button to move on to the next screen.
Step 10: From here you will want to enter your login username which is your FULL EXTENSION NUMBER (Example: 1513900).
You will then want to navigate down and enter the password: 123654789
It will then say “Registration is progress”
After that, your phone should come up looking similar to this:
